Well what a wonderful surprise this was. When you run a shop where customers bring in their own fruit to make wine, you never know what you are going to have come in the door. I found out today that my employee had rolled his eyes and was a little skeptical when the customers started this wine and they left a little concerned but committed to continue. There was a stuck fermentation so it took longer than usual which caused more concern because there were “problems “ with it. So when they came in to finally bottle their sparkling wine they arrived with a little apprehension. Well... it turns out that it is probably the most spectacular, deliciously refreshing wine bottled in my shop this year!!! WOW was the first word spoken by everyone that tried it, followed by “That is delicious!” Thank you for your trust and patience, allowing me to make the best possible product with what ever you bring in. I am now ready for the next challenge. Bring on the 2018 fruit harvest!
